Taishō 251

One of the problems we have studying this text is that there are differences in the Chinese text. When the CBETA version was created they added a lot of extraneous punctuation to the text, often in the wrong place. Here is the Xīnjīng as it appears in the printed Taishō Shinshū Daizōkyō (with lines and without). The text occurs in Vol.8 of Taishō

觀自在菩薩。行深般若波羅蜜多時。照見五 蘊皆空。度一切苦厄。

舍利子。色不異空。空不異色。色即是空。空即是色。受想行識亦復如是。

Note that the text as popularly chanted uses the alternate ending 薩婆訶 sàpó hē which more accurately reflects the sounds of Sanskrit svāhā. In the Dhāraṇīsamuccaya (T901)—the probable source of the dhāraṇī—svāhā is represented by 莎訶 Shā hē, and  僧莎訶 sēng shāhē is probably a mistake for this with an inadvertent  repetition of 僧.
